Sunday 10th November POSTPONED – NEW DATE TO BE CONFIRMED.  Ballintubber GAA’s AGM takes place on Sunday November 10 at 5pm upstairs in their Clogher clubhouse. If you require nomination and motion forms please contact the club secretary at secretary.ballintubber.mayo@gaa.ie. The club would also like to extend its congratulations to its U-15 team who had a fantastic 1-7 to 1-5 win over Westport.

Saturday 16th November – Quiz Night in the Drum Inn, Clogher, F12 Y578 at 8:30pm. €10 per person or €40 a table.  Raffle on the night.  Proceeds in aid of Clogher Environmental Group and Upgrade of the Defibrillator at Clogher Hall/Holy Angels NS

Sunday 17th November – Errew Community Committee present an intimate afternoon of folk songs with James Kilbane.  Sunday 17th of November at 2pm.  Tickets €15 – Limited Tickets still remaining from Committee members or call 087 2029144.  Doors 1:30 – Eircode F23 E291

DECEMBER

Friday 6th December – Mass for the deceased members of Ballintubber GAA will take place in Ballintubber Abbey at 7:30pm on Friday 6th of December. 

Saturday 14th December – Ballintubber Annual Tractor run takes place on Saturday 14th of December 2024.  Fun event for all the family, it is a great show of lights and engines as we kick of the Christmas celebrations in Ballintubber

Registration from 2p.m. at the Abbey Car Park. Entry €20.
Mini Tractor Run for the smallies will take place in the Abbey grounds once the main event has departed after 4p.m.
Prizes for the best dressed and decorated tractors🚜✨
Santa’s Grotto will be open for little visitors with a special appearance by the big man himself …Ho Ho Ho🎅🏻

Book signings by local authors Our Finest Hour by Edwin McGreal & Eva Naughton who will be in the Abbey gift shop where you can get a signed copy of their fantastic books on the evening📚
Be in with a chance to win some great prizes in our Raffle🎁
Food Trucks & Refreshments available while you enjoy listening to Christmas Carols by our fabulous Abbey Choir – why not join in yourself 🎶

Meet up with family, friends and neighbours at this fun and entertaining Community Event🎉 Proceeds to Ballintubber Community Council with half going to The Celtic Furrow to assist with the big refurbishment. Hope to see you all there

 

Sunday 15th December – Ballintubber Abbey with Ballintubber Abbey Choir & Mayo Male Voice Choir – Sunday 15th December 2024 at 8:00pm
FREE ADMISSION.  Donations on the door towards Ballintubber Abbey New Development Ballintubber Abbey Choir and Mayo Male Voice Choir invite you to their 3rd Christmas Concert in Ballintubber Abbey. This event began in 2019 as a memorial concert to our dear friend Marcus RIP who was a member.

Saturday 4th January – Nollaig na MBan Ballintubber

Join us on January 6th at Corleys Abbey Lodge in Ballintubber as Ballintubber Abbey proudly hosts a special Nollaig na mBan (Women’s Christmas) celebration. This cherished Irish tradition invites the ladies of our community and surrounding parishes to come together for an evening of warmth, festivity, and connection.
Enjoy a festive four-course dinner, evening refreshments, and a raffle,. Arrival from 5pm with Dinner Served at 6PM. Tickets €45 per person available at Ballintubber Abbey Giftshop of online
