Fridy 13th December RESCHEDULED Thursday 19th December.- ECO POP UP Christmas market in Crave at the Cottage, Ballintubber, F12 A8N9.  Local handmade gifts, art, crafts and pre-loved clothing, delicious food and good vibes.

Ballintubber Annual Tractor Run
Join us on Sunday, 22nd December 2024, for the Ballintubber Annual Tractor Run—a fun event for the whole family! This spectacular display of lights and engines kicks off the Christmas celebrations in Ballintubber.

Details:

  • Registration: From 2 p.m. at the Abbey Car Park. Entry fee: €20.
  • Main Event: Departs after 4 p.m.
  • Mini Tractor Run: For the little ones, taking place in the Abbey grounds after the main event departs.
  • Prizes: Awards for the best-dressed and most decorated tractors! 🚜✨

Special Attractions:

  • Santa’s Grotto: Open for little visitors, with a special appearance by Santa himself … Ho Ho Ho! 🎅🏻
  • Book Signings:
    • Our Finest Hour by Edwin McGreal
    • Alfie – The Secret Scientist by Eva Naughton
      Authors will be signing copies in the Abbey Gift Shop from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Shopping & Refreshments:

  • Abbey Gift Shop: Open throughout the event with a fantastic array of local products, including jewelry, books, skincare, hats, scarves, and toys. Enjoy a 10% discount on all purchases during the event!
  • Food Trucks: Enjoy delicious food and refreshments.

Entertainment:

  • Christmas Carols: Performed by our fabulous Abbey Choir—why not join in yourself? 🎶
  • Raffle: Enter for a chance to win some great prizes! 🎁

Community Spirit:
Meet up with family, friends, and neighbors at this fun and entertaining community event! Proceeds will go to Ballintubber Community Council, with half supporting The Celtic Furrow’s refurbishment.
