Welcome to the “Footprints in Time” Retreat Program at the historic Ballintubber Abbey, designed to prepare primary school students for the sacrament of Confirmation. Set within the ancient walls of Ballintubber Abbey, which has stood as a spiritual landmark for over 800 years, this program offers a unique and inspiring journey for young minds.

Through captivating Bible stories and interactive activities, students will explore the rich history of their faith, tracing the “footprints” of those who have walked this path before them. The retreat also includes an exploration of the abbey’s beautiful and serene grounds, where students can reflect on their spiritual growth in a meaningful and engaging way.
